MÖTLEY CRÜE performed in Japan on November 3rd, and during the song “The Dirt”, the band is seemingly employing “backing tracks” while Vince Neil appears to lip synch the song’s lyrics as prerecorded audio is fed through the PA.
One comment on the video posted below reads:
“The Dirt is all backing tracks, Vince is not singing.”
The band’s ex-guitarist Mick Mars filed a lawsuit against his former bandmates earlier this year, claiming that Sixx, Lee and Neil all were guilty of using backing tracks during last year’s The Stadium Tour.
Last year, drummer Tommy Lee was busted using backing tracks near the end of the tour.
Sixx was busted with both arms raised during a concert earlier this year, yet notes continue to play from his bass without him actually touching the instrument.

Drums count in by themselves, bass line going while bass player has both arms in the air after tossing a beer can and the singer sucks. The only one playing live is guitarist Mick Mars. Who's propping up who? #motleycrue #mickmars #teammick pic.twitter.com/Vks8R3usgy
