Australian deathcore band THY ART IS MURDER have unveiled Tyler Miller of Aversions Crown as their new vocalist. Last week saw Thy Art Is Murder make the surprising decision to digitally release their latest album “Godlike” with newly re-recorded vocals from the then unidentified musician. No advance notice was given of the switch.
Along with the album was word of the band’s decision to fire their frontman CJ McMahon.
It was said that McMahon‘s sharing of his increasingly controversial viewpoints on several topics had become an issue for the band, including his infamous commentary on gender identity.
The band revealed the identity of their new vocalist live onstage last night, September 27th, during their show at the Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany. That show kicked off their European/UK tour with Whitechapel, Fit For An Autopsy and Spite, dates for which include:
