CONTRIVE front man Paul Haug managed the impossible on Friday night, to fill in for SLAYER on vocals.
Slayer is currently touring Australia with Megadeth, but on Friday night in Melbourne at Festival Hall the band’s vocalist Tom Araya was unable to sing let alone speak during the band’s entire set. Tom made several attempts at encouraging the rabid audience to step up to the mic with little luck. Paul managed his way to the side of stage where Tom led him to the mic where he belted out a killer version of the classic Dead Skin Mask.
