According to BLIZZARD OF OZZ keyboardist Lindsay Bridgwater,
“Randy Rhoads was working hard on a solo album. Randy really was very classically influenced so we had an empathy there. We would often jam with him on guitar and me on piano. He felt the need to learn. We worked on a few things that ultimately were not to find themselves on the DIARY album simply because they weren’t suitable for Ozzy Osbourne.”
“It was actually rare to see Randy without a guitar. If he had lived to complete his own album it certainly would have been a revelation. Of that I have no doubt. There was one track in particular which I helped him transcribe. I wrote it down after he died because it was still fresh in my memory. I still have the manuscript.”
Mr. Bridgwater British keyboardist most known for touring with Ozzy Osbourne in 1981-83 and Mick Ralphs of Bad Company in 1984 together with AC/DC drummer Chris Slade and guitarist Dave Colwell.
Lindsay Bridgwater was born in Nottingham and studied Music at Cambridge University, acquiring a degree and various diplomas on the way. Whilst at Cambridge, he was Musical Director for the famous Footlights Revue. Lindsay has performing credits from Ozzy Osbourne to Buckingham Palace and The Vatican and also on BBC Radios 1, 2, 3, and 4.
