STATIC-X have unveiled a new track titled “Stay Alive” which features the vocals of their late frontman/guitarist Wayne Static. That song comes from the band’s forthcoming “Project Regeneration: Vol. 2” album, which found his returning bandmates construct new songs around vocal tracks he left behind.
According to the band’s former sound engineer, Static had been working on this track the night he passed away (November 01st, 2014). A music video for the song was co-directed by Matt Zane and Edsel Dope, who is widely thought to be the man behind the mask of current Static-X frontpersona Xer0.
A November 3rd release date currently stands for “Project Regeneration: Vol. 2“. The group will be touring on that record as follows.
