MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s bassist Nikki Sixx has been under fire recently for not playing one single note live at last year’s The Stadium Tour concerts, which was revealed in a new lawsuit filed by ousted Crue guitarist Mick Mars.
At one point during the concert in Copenhagen, Denmark this year, Sixx found himself trying to defend against a fan who rushed the stage. When he goes to take off his bass guitar to use as a weapon against the younger male, Sixx gets exposed yet again for miming on the stage along with a pre-recorded track piped through the PA, because when he takes off his bass guitar to begin to swing at the man, magically his bass continues to play notes.
The fan-filmed video of the CRÜE’s June 14th concert at the Copenhell festival in Copenhagen, Denmark as part of the European leg of the band’s “The World Tour” with DEF LEPPARD can be viewed below. It has already amassed over 200,000 views via TikTok.
Fan comments left on the shocking video post perfectly sum up the fraudulent Sixx being exposed as a fake bassist:
“Wow and never missed a beat he’s amazing sounded the same with or without his amazing bass playing.”
“Isn’t it so cool how he can play the bass while his hands dont touch the strings.”
“Who swings the bass by the body to hit with the headstock?”
