Wolfgang Van Halen Calls Out Bands Using Backing Tracks: “You should be able to play your shit!”

The son of late guitar hero Eddie Van Halen has just called out all the elite rock and metal bands who are using backing tracks with main instrumentations and lead vocals at live performances while charging ridiculous ticket prices. In a new interview with Ola Englund on YouTube titled “Coffee With Wolfgang Van Halen”, the young musician expresses his frustration over the rock music industry’s acceptance of many of the big name acts not performing real live sets any longer. “It’s a bummer!” Wolfgang says.
