Watch disastrous fan filmed footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE performing “Live Wire” live at Bramall Lane Stadium in Sheffield, UK on May 22, 2023, on the opening night of the UK and Europe stadium tour.
Bassist Nikki Sixx is caught pulling a Milli Vanilli move when he is seen miming on the bass again along to prerecorded backing tracks for his bass and backup vocals. View the footage below.
A comment left by a fan by the name Sid Randall suggests Sixx is not playing one note live, as was claimed by ousted Crue guitarist Mick Mars.
“At 1:24 Sixx takes his picking hand off the strings to adjust something and somehow the bass keeps playing itself.”
Mars claims in his lawsuit that Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil all have relied heavily on backing tracks while on tour last year, and that the only actual one performing live for real was Mars.
High paid pro musicians more and more today are faking out the crowds with non-authentic pre-taped concerts, including PANTERA fill-in guitarist Zakk Wylde, who TMD popped playing along to backing tapes recently, believe it or not, performed originally in the studio by deceased guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott.

My Zakk Wylde 'backing tracks' story got posted at Alice Cooper's radio show site!!
