MÖTLEY CRÜE Fired Mick Mars For Expressing His Hatred of Scott Stapp

TMD first broke the news that Mick Mars was being ousted by his longtime bandmates four months ago, totally exposing Nikki Sixx‘s shady antics against 71-year-old Mars, and at the same time the real reason behind the guitarist’s sacking was revealed, although nobody wanted to believe it.

On a recent episode of THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW, Neeley and Chris review an article from The Metal Den that claims that Mick Mars was thrown out of MÖTLEY CRÜE for being too old, and this several months old revelation has turned out to be totally true! Mars has filed a lawsuit versus the Crue now, claiming he is being ripped off and age discriminated.

Fans will recall that TMD had the scoop all along on the developing drama in Crue camp, and as always, TMD is dead on the money, miles ahead of everyone else in the rock n roll news media.

The word coming out of Crue’s camp is that Mick’s departure actually centered around his disdain for ex-Creed vocalist Scott Stapp, believe it or not.

When Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee both suggested firing Vince Neil during the band’s long awaited comeback tour in 2022, Mick got very angry at the idea of not giving the fans what they wanted, which is the original lineup together and fully intact for these reunion gigs scheduled around the world. He also voiced his anger about Tommy Lee getting caught fake drumming at a show. All of this came to a head during the final show for the Stadium Tour, and that was when Sixx made the move to replace Mars with John 5 and use the BS cover story that Mick was stepping down, when the truth is Sixx was forcing him out of the band for expressing his feelings about potentially firing Neil for a second time and bringing aboard the Christian-themed singer with a past alcohol issue which led to his being suicidal and homeless.

As the story goes, it was the constant ridicule of Sixx’s decision making that led to the demise of Mars.

During the heated discussion, Mars ultimately threatened Sixx with exposure of the Crue relying on pre-recorded tracks at all of their concerts, and this along with Mick’s hatred for Scott Stapp is what forced Sixx to make the move to get rid of Mars.

It took Sixx 11 more days after TMD revealed via its ‘double down’ story that Mick was indeed out of the band, before the Crue even admitted the truth to all their fans via Variety.

Ex-Headbangers Ball host Riki Rachtman joined Mars in expressing his hatred for Stapp when he posted a TikTok stating he would shave his head bald if Stapp joins the Crue. This post by Rachtman has racked up over 159,000 views so far.
