LARS ULRICH – Makes A Big PR Move… Joins Twitter!

METALLICA’s lovable drummer, Lars Ulrich, has made another big PR move. He joined Twitter! Perhaps, this will be even bigger than collaborating with Lady Gaga. Yes, Lars has officially joined the social networking site (although his page says he joined in 2011, he did not make his first post until yesterday), but does he know what he is in for? Maybe he’s ready for all of the “Twitter Trolls”, and is ready to take on any haters no matter the pain and suffering he will most certainly now endure.

Lars posted a picture of he and Iggy Pop, who opened for METALLICA at three Mexico City shows last month. Now the legendary singer sat down with Lars Ulrich for an in-depth chat that covered working with their mutual friend, Lou Reed, as well as playing on the same bill together, the record label they used to share (Elektra) and the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, among other topics.
