Former MÖTLEY CRÜE singer John Corabi has been an open book about his rocky past with Nikki Sixx. Corabi noted that he would have to “bury the hatchet” with Sixx before he would ever consider doing anything with the band again. As rumors fly that Vince Neil is going to be fired by Sixx at any time, while the band has some time off from their hectic World Tour schedule, which is not slated to pick back up again until May, TMD digs deeper into the substance of the matter, to get the real dirt.
Word is that Sixx covered up the truth about Mick Mars quitting the Crue, because he wanted to conceal the secret plot he has in place to fire fan favorite Vince Neil, who is on a drunken downward spiral and can only lip-sync live so it is making things impossible.
After not having been in the band fronting the Crue on a studio album in nearly three decades, Corabi reflects now on the music he made with the Crue and his relationships with his old band mates today.
Corabi continued. “Tommy [Lee, Crue drummer] reached out to me. now we’ve got a communication again. Mick [Mars] I’ve been fine with…“
Here is a fan’s question to Nikki Sixx about Corabi’s brief stint in Crue:
“I really loved Jon Corabi’s album with Crüe… Don’t you regret having fired him?”
To which Sixx replied:
“Some really great songs in that album… That’s all that matters.”
Listen to a new episode of Rock and Roll Death Brigade podcast, hosted by Randy “Rocket” Cody. More details about John Corabi potentially rejoining the Crue are revealed.
