Police were reportedly dispatched to the Hollywood Hills home of embattled rock musician Marilyn Manson yesterday (February 3) for a welfare check. The incident comes just days after several woman, most notably actress Evan Rachel Wood, came forward to accuse Manson of abuse.
According to TMZ, a friend of Manson’s called police after being unable to get in touch with him for several hours and “were worried something may have happened to him.”
TMZ reports that several officers attempted to make contact with Manson and an LAPD helicopter was on hand to illuminate the property. Though police failed to speak with Manson, a rep for the vocalist subsequently informed them that Manson was fine and “simply didn’t want to come out.” Officers left the scene shortly thereafter.
