JOHNNY DEPP: The Troubled Life Of A Hollywood Vampire!
By Randy “Rocket” Cody
HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES rocker and mega movie star, Johnny Depp, is perhaps one of the darkest, most mysterious personalities in the history of the silver screen.
But he is currently plagued by a failed marriage with Amber Heard where she accused him
of being abusive, and the fact that he has begun to see financial problems. She filed for divorce from Depp only after 1 year of being married to him. The divorce was finalized at the start of this year.
New court documents suggest Johnny Depp’s managers may have known that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor had allegedly assaulted his now-ex-wife, Amber Heard.
The documents allege that Johnny Depp’s management team knew full well that the actor/musician was at times “extremely volatile” and had “sometimes ‘gotten physical'” with Amber Heard. Depp’s management team say that they had direct knowledge of a 2014 incident during which he “violently kicked” the actress.
According to this Bloomberg report, Depp is pretty much living in La La Land when it comes to the reality of his dire financial situation.
“In a preliminary skirmish, Depp’s lawyers persuaded a state judge to narrow counterclaims by the Management Group that the actor is to blame for his financial problems. The management company Depp fired last year alleges the actor repeatedly ignored its warnings that his $2-million-a-month lifestyle, including $30,000 just for wine, wasn’t sustainable.”
Depp, one of the most bankable film stars ever, has seen many of his recent films get critically blasted, titles like: The Lone Ranger & Mortdecai. Both which struggled to return their budget costs.
Despite this, Depp continues making Pirate films and playing a very creepy killer, as he did with his absolutely mesmerizing turn as legendary Philly gangster Whitey Bulger in 2015’s Black Mass.
Depp’s downfall in recent years, and apparent problem with managing the hundreds of millions he has earned acting over the past few decades, seem to have undoubtedly begun to take a toll on the man… and his image.
“When Depp was confronted by TMG or any of his other advisers about his spending, he most often engaged in profanity-laced tirades where he abused the professionals surrounding him and claimed that he would work harder to afford whatever new item he wanted to purchase,” the company said in a court filing.
“Depp’s purchases included a 45-acre chateau in the South of France, a chain of islands in the Bahamas, a 150-foot luxury yacht, art works by Andy Warhol and Gustav Klimt, 70 collectible guitars, 40 full-time employees around the world and a specially made cannon that he used to blast the ashes of Hunter Thompson over Aspen, Colorado, according to his former business managers.”
Depp has gone on the record to argue in his defense that the big-ticket purchases is “an improper, retaliatory effort” to publicly attack him and divert attention from the “Management Group’s wrongdoing”.
Depp alleges in the report that “the management company failed to pay his taxes on time”, along with running a practice of loaning money from him to others, general mismanagement of his expenses and “reckless borrowing” on his behalf are why the actor/rocker feels he is owed $25 million in damages.
The Management Group denied Depp’s allegation. Depp’s rumored bankruptcy woes should not come as such a shock to everyone since he foolishly wasted $3 million just to shoot Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes out of a cannon.
When asked about Thompson’s strange wish to be sent off via a cannon, Depp said, “All I’m doing is trying to make sure his last wish comes true, I just want to send my pal out the way he wants to go out.”
According to this report:
“All of these over-the-top spending has resulted to Johnny Depp going bankrupt, and according to The Management Group (TMG), the firm that guided Depp in his finances and who is now suing him for an unpaid loan, they warned him several times before to curb his lavish spending.
TMG said that they have tried their best to protect Depp from going bankrupt and they even tried to help him protect his image. The firm’s lawsuit came about when they gave the actor a “multimillion-dollar loan” to escape an embarrassing situation.
Johnny Depp’s alleged bankruptcy woes started when he asked for a huge loan before. When the bank demanded for the repayment, he couldn’t gather enough funds to make it. TMG stepped in and gave the actor the money to settle the debt so as to keep his financial situation under tight wraps from the public.
Now reportedly the firm that used to work for Depp is suing the actor for not settling his $4.2 million debt to them and they are launching a foreclosure on the actor’s properties.
The actor/rocker went on the record that he hoped that his $35 million paycheck for the fourth “Pirates of Caribbean” installment that would be filmed the following year, plus the $20 million he would get for “The Tourist” and another $20 million for “Dark Shadows,” will help get his finances back in order.
“What else can I do??? You want me to sell some art??? I will. You want me to sell something else??? Sure … what???” Depp tells his business manager. “I got bikes, cars, property, paintings and some semblance of a soul left. Where would you like me to start???”
