MÖTLEY CRÜE’s replacement guitarist has just been busted “clown miming” on the stage at a new Crue concert, during “Wild Side” song performance (seen via video below) at 3:45 point a fan has pointed out is the moment when John 5 stops playing his guitar, walking across the stage, yet his guitar still continues playing notes.
Ousted guitarist Mick Mars, 73, launched a lawsuit last year against his former band for ripping him off and not telling the truth to fans about their usage of prerecorded audio tape at gigs starting with The Stadium Tour, where drummer Tommy Lee was caught red handed by Rocket of TMD fake playing his drums.
Nikki Sixx and Vince Neil have also been caught doing lip sync and clown miming, yet contend that there is no lip syncing in rock n roll music. The Crue recently canceled their highly anticipated new studio album after Rocket of TMD exposed the band using AI technology to generate their new music.
The Crue had previously canceled their New Year’s Eve gig to heading into 2024, and have been booking a smaller amount of gigs this year at non arena events due to poor ticket sales. They are scheduled to perform at the North Dakota State Fair on July 19.
