“Vince Neil and Fab Morvan will come together…”
An unexpected duet was set to take place later this year, but now a rep for Vince Neil says that “Vince Neil pulled out of Fab Morvan.”
“Girl You Know It’s True” was a big success in the United States, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending April 1, 1989. It became the first of five top 5 singles for Milli Vanilli and spent a total of 26 weeks on the chart.
The plan is for Fab Morvan to celebrate the 35th anniversary of when the song became a hit on April 1st, 2024 by releasing a special duet version with a famous counterpart filling in the other half of Milli Vanilli.
“Vince loves Fab, and sends him all his regards, but once again, there is a bigger problem going on than anyone realizes. As one ages, it becomes more difficult to sing as well as your younger self.”
Word going around is that Vince Neil has lost his voice and needs AI technology and ghost singers in the studio to help recreate his once youthful singing voice pulled from early MÖTLEY CRÜE recordings. This is why there is such a delay on a new studio album, despite Nikki Sixx saying the band definitely was releasing one in 2024. It will mark 16 years since their last full length “Saints of Los Angeles”.
Vince joked that he cut his vocals via a Zoom call, but the truth is Vince couldn’t produce a keeper in the studio right now if his life depended on it. The rep reached out to TMD with the unfortunate news about his “pulling out” of MILLI VANILLI singer Fab Morvan.
