Legendary rock drummer Carmine Appice waged a war versus MÖTLEY CRÜE’s Nikki Sixx recently, calling the Crue’s leader out for using backing tracks at concerts. Now Carmine has sounded off about his shocking revelation that Sixx never played one note in the studio either, The Wrecking Crew’s Carol Kaye did. Check out what Carmine had to say below:

Sixx had initially called Appice a “washed up drummer” and when Sixx was next challenged by Appice to a ‘jam off’ to see who the real musician was, Sixx backed down and sent him a “cease and desist” letter.
