METALLICA has unleashed the full version of their new single, “72 Seasons,” which is also the title track of their upcoming album. James Hetfield, the band’s frontman, reflects on the concept behind the album’s title, which represents the first 18 years of a person’s life. The album explores how childhood experiences shape our personalities and perceptions of the world, either binding us or setting us free.
Metallica’s new album will be released on April 14th, 2023, via Blackened Recordings, and pre-orders are available now here.
