This marks the first #1 sales debut for the masked metal outfit, who earned a #2 debut with 2004's Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses and a #3 start with 2001's Iowa. The Game's last two efforts, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2005's The Documentary, both bowed at #1.
Meanwhile, Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus is still holding strong at #3, the Jonas Brothers' Little Bit Longer is at #4 and the soundtrack to Mamma Mia sits at #5.
Other debuts on the chart this week came from Solange Knowles’ Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams at #9 with 46,000 copies, Dragonforce’s Ultra Beatdown at #19 with 24,000, The Verve’s reunion album, Forth, at #23 with 21,000, and Blues legend B.B. King at #37 with his One Kind Favor, selling 12,000. The legendary Motorhead’s 24th album, Motorizer, bowed at #82 with 6,500 units sold.
