"My dear friends and Metal fans,
I have some news, that may make some of you very happy and some of you might be a bit confused, and some of you might not even approve…but here's what's up…
As some of you may know, a few years back when Fuse let me go, we had a big issue over ownership of Slave to the Metal. We had quite a bit of beef, during which most of you stood by my side.
Since then, most of the corporate people at Fuse have left, and it's a whole new regime with all new people. Since that has went down, I have been offered to host a weekly Hard Rock and Metal coundown, which will also include band interviews. It was explained to me that while there will be metal on the show, it will be mainstream. (Slipknot, Metallica, etc)
I thought about it for a while… and decided to accept. I will explain why:
1. In the past two years, I have went to every company you can imagine (including MTV) pitching a metal show, and no one gives a fuck. That's the honest truth.
2. Being that Fuse is the only place still willing to show any kind of heavy music, I figured that once I'm in, I can work on them letting me do a metal show once again. I feel, that is currently our last chance. And since it's all new people, there are no hard feelings from either side.
That's whats going on. I'm quite happy to be doing what I do once again. I will work my hardest to bring heavy music to television once again, and I hope that I have your love and support, without which none of it is possible.
Rock On!
Juliya"
