AZRAEL’S BANE – New Album Details Revealed

Houston, Texas based heavy metal band, AZRAEL’S BANE, and HighVolMusic have released the artwork and tracklisting for the upcoming sophomore album, Modern Day Babylon, to be released in April.

The Baniac Pak will include two full length CDs in a digipak, Modern Day Babylon and the band’s debut Wings Of Innocence. Both recordings have been remixed and remastered with bonus tracks added. A CD release party is scheduled for April 8th at BFE in Houston, Texas with Infidel Rising in support.

Azrael’s Bane vocalist Trey Gadler checked in with the following comment: “We’re all stoked about Modern Day Babylon getting it’s due with a proper release. The revamped packaging is killer and the new mastering and remix on Wings Of Innocence makes these songs sound so much better. Thanks to the good folks at HighVolMusic, Bane fans will be getting a killer deal on a couple of killer records.”

The project was remixed and remastered by original producer Greg Gill of Spyder Studios in Arcadia, Missouri with “Edge Of Thorns” engineered and recorded by Bill Wilkerson of Priden Studios in Houston, Texas. Original cover art was hand painted by German artist Rainer Kalwitz with final package layout and design by Jon Fredericks of Record Time Designs.

The bonus track “Edge Of Thorns” features the drum work of Van Eric Turner formerly of the band Z Lot Z. Turner replaces former drummer Rick Ward now with Ronnie Munroe in Munroes’ Thunder.
