The tour kicked off Feb 1st and is sponsored by Myspace Music and MySpace Metal.
This run of dates will feature far more than one of the strongest bills in recent memory, as MESHUGGAH and Cynic announce the addition of an extra dimension to this tour. Both bands have joined together to launch an online video channel that gives fans a glimpse into what’s happening on the road, behind the scenes, regular updates from tour stops, artist-on-artist interviews, and other interesting things.
Tour Video Updates from MESHUGGAH will also be available for viewing at the bands MySpace Video Channel.
In addition to videos uploaded by the bands themselves, MESHUGGAH and Cynic are opening the channel to their fans, and calling on them to send in footage (camera phone or otherwise) from the shows, documenting their own (fan) experience of the tour. All concert-goers need to do is send their video shots to [email protected], and if accepted, the clips will be available for the entire metal world to see.
