DIMEBAG – 14 Years Gone… But Never Forgotten

Today marks a tragic day in the history of Heavy Metal music. Legendary PANTERA guitarist, Dimebag Darrell Abbott of Arlington, Texas, was shot dead on the stage on the eve of Dec 8, 2004 by a crazed gunman while jamming with his new band project called DAMAGEPLAN

My independent death investigation for Dimebag in 2018 has uncovered more strange details and alarming facts, stemming from a lawsuit filed by the family of the slain guitar hero against the owner of the club where he was shot to death while performing for fans at a concert back in 2004.

According to this 2007 report via KNAC and The Columbus Dispatch:

Finnish metal veterans CHILDREN OF BODOM have unveiled the first new song from their upcoming album, Hexed, which is slated for a March 8 release through Nuclear Blast Records. A music video (directed by Yka Jarvinen) for the single “Under Grass and Clover” can be viewed above.

COB frontman, guitarist, and mastermind Alexi Laiho comments, “‘Under Grass and Clover’ is the sound of COB on fire and has been my favorite song since it was written. It’s fast, melodic, heavy and dark but also short and sweet. Someone told me that it’s kinda like old school Dimmu Borgir and AWK and that’s pretty damn cool in my books so we must’ve done something right.”

Fully 20 years into the tough, heroic grind that represents the lifeblood of extreme musicians, Finland metal scientists Children of...

INCITE – Debut New Music Video

A music video for the title track to INCITE’s forthcoming new album “Built To Destroy” has made its online debut.

Built To Destroy” will meet a January 25th release on minus HEAD Records.

Now close to 15-years into a career where everything was earned and nothing was taken for granted, INCITE bridges the gap between multiple crowds across various metal sub-genres. As renegade disciples of trailblazing architects like Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura, and Machine Head, INCITE raise the torch for trend-killing and hipster-smashing metal. INCITE is as much a part of the fabric of the style championed by Lamb Of God as the surge of newer bands like Power Trip...

The news comes via vocalist Burton C. Bell, who had the following to say amid a recent interview with mirp411.com:

“Fear Factory has a record done. It’s delivered to the label. We’re just waiting for some legal technicalities [to be resolved]. And the record will be out next year.”

With Genexus, Fear Factory forged a new hyper-alloy of sound, extreme and idea. “We wanted to create a new hybrid,” states guitarist and founding songwriter, Dino Cazares. “Something that summed up every aspect of who we are.
