The group will play their first show back with\u00a0<strong>McCombs<\/strong>\u00a0tomorrow, March 17th at Club LA in Destin, FL. A set at Throwdown At The Campground will follow a day later in Fruitland Park, FL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">In addition to his new role,&nbsp;<strong>McCombs<\/strong>&nbsp;will remain a member of&nbsp;<strong>SOiL<\/strong>. As everyone living life can attest to, sometimes our days can get messy \u2013 but in the words of one&nbsp;<strong>Dave Williams<\/strong>, \u2018Everything happens for reasons, I just don\u2019t know\u2026\u2019 Some of the greatest moments in my career came about as a member of DP and I\u2019m really thankful for the opportunity to perform with them once again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Drowning Pool<\/strong>&nbsp;drummer&nbsp;<strong>Mike Luce<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201cI\u2019m very happy that&nbsp;<strong>SOiL<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Drowning Pool<\/strong>&nbsp;are in a spot now where we not only co-exist, but are close enough as friends to move forward together. We support and respect each other enough for us to make sure they can keep doing what they do, and for them to allow us to revisit a bunch of these cool tunes we played a decade-plus ago, with the singer who we viewed as the archetype after&nbsp;<strong>Dave<\/strong>&nbsp;passed. It\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s been over 10 years since we shared a stage with&nbsp;<strong>Ryan<\/strong>. I think, deep down, we always knew this reunion would happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>SOiL<\/strong>&nbsp;also weighed in on the matter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201c<strong>Ryan<\/strong>&nbsp;has extensive history with both&nbsp;<strong>SOiL<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Drowning Pool<\/strong>, so when the opportunity arose for him to move forward as the singer of both bands, we knew we could make it work together. Both bands aren\u2019t kids anymore, and we\u2019ve all grown as people, mended past hard feelings, and are approaching the 25-year marks.&nbsp;<strong>Ryan<\/strong>&nbsp;wants to work. He wants to tour and play as much as possible, and this allows him to do that. As&nbsp;<strong>Dave<\/strong>&nbsp;Williams said just days before his passing, \u2018Anywhere there is electricity for DP and&nbsp;<strong>SOiL<\/strong>&nbsp;to play together, let\u2019s do it\u2026\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">As for the departure of&nbsp;<strong>McCombs<\/strong>&nbsp;successor and now predecessor,&nbsp;<strong>Jasen Moreno<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Drowning Pool<\/strong>&nbsp;offered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201cWe appreciate everyone asking about\u00a0<strong>Jasen<\/strong>. We can\u2019t speak for him but we believe he was just ready to move on to other things in life. Maybe he will make a statement. Maybe he won\u2019t.
