Believe it or not, guitarist Tracii Guns<\/strong>\u00a0says that\u00a0John 5<\/strong>\u00a0would be a “great choice” to replace\u00a0Mick Mars<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0posted the comment in response to a rumor \u2014 first reported by the\u00a0Metal Sludge<\/a>\u00a0web site on October 7 \u2014 that\u00a0John 5<\/strong>\u00a0would be replacing the 71-year-old\u00a0Mars<\/strong> for the 2023 leg of\u00a0CR\u00dcE<\/strong>‘s reunion tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speculation going around about\u00a0John 5<\/strong>‘s involvement with\u00a0CR\u00dcE<\/strong>\u00a0“gained strength after the longtime\u00a0ROB ZOMBIE<\/strong>\u00a0guitarist failed to appear with the shock rocker at this year’s\u00a0Aftershock<\/strong>\u00a0festival in Sacramento.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans are worried about Mars being replaced without it being announced in advance of their forthcoming World tour dates in 2023, much like they did with the first leg of North American the Stadium Tour shows, when Tommy Lee was replaced due to a purported rib injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
