{"id":95643,"date":"2022-09-10T11:33:08","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T16:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themetalden.com\/?p=95643"},"modified":"2022-09-10T11:33:10","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T16:33:10","slug":"opeth-announce-new-drummer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/themetalden.com\/?p=95643","title":{"rendered":"OPETH &#8211; Announce New Drummer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Last year longtime drummer\u00a0<strong>Martin Axenrot<\/strong> and <strong>OPETH<\/strong> had <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lambgoat.com\/news\/35131\/opeth-part-ways-with-drummer-martin-axenrot\/\" target=\"_blank\">parted ways<\/a> due to &#8220;conflict of interests&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The former <strong>Paradise Lost<\/strong> drummer <strong>Waltteri V\u00e4yrynen<\/strong> has been confirmed as Opeth&#8217;s new drummer after stepping down from that role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">This week, it was announced that V\u00e4yrynen would leave Paradise Lost and that <strong>Guido Montanarini<\/strong> from <strong>Strigoi<\/strong> would take over the drum seat.
