Thanatology is the debut album of the Mexican heavy metal band Sagreveht and deals with lyricist composer and vocalist Hiram L\u00f3pez personal compilation of interests such as movies, literature, and most of all psychology and the scientific study of death and losses in the forensic field, due to the musician\u2019s health state as well as the COVID-19 pandemic while writing and recording the album during summer of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sagreveht - Bringer Of Rain (Lyric Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E9sbSNJ-n-E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Sagreveht is a Mexican heavy metal band created by Hiram L\u00f3pez and Aldo Hern\u00e1ndez during the summer of 2021, in Culiac\u00e1n Sinaloa, a bloody, violent, and hot city located in Mexico\u2019s northwest. The original idea behind Sagreveht\u2019s music was just to have fun and keep Hiram\u2019s mind out of his recently (at the time) diagnosed cancer and the treatment he was going through as well as the pandemic situation happening globally. They recorded their debut album \u201cThanatology\u201d in Hiram\u00b4s bedroom and released it locally, but due to the overwhelmingly good response, the project had various local musicians joining the band such as S\u00f3crates Gonz\u00e1lez and Feryn D Diaz on guitars, and Hugo F\u00e9lix on bass.
