The biggest name in pop music is going to make history as the first woman to appear in the band lineup of a METALLICA <\/strong>album. This is not a joke.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a distinct voice, musical style and boundary-pushing artistry, Lady Gaga is in a class of her own among musicians today. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

TMD has been tipped off today about Lady Gaga <\/strong>singing lead vocals on three new METALLICA<\/strong> songs, to be officially announced shortly by the band, along with the new album title, track list and the release date, which is believed to be slated for some time in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be METALLICA<\/strong>‘s eleventh studio album and first since Hardwired… to Self-Destruct<\/strong><\/em> in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite some technical malfunctions and frontman James Hetfield<\/strong>‘s mic accidentally being switched off,\u00a0Metallica’s epic collaboration with Lady Gaga for a performance at the 2017 GRAMMYs<\/strong>\u00a0was one of the coolest in recent memory, with the pair joining forces for a jamming rendition of “Moth Into Flame.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drummer Lars Ulrich <\/strong>has always been adamant about wanting to make Gaga an official fifth member of the legendary thrash metal group, not just an honorary member<\/em>, but the real deal<\/strong>. Let’s face it, you can see the super fiery metal look<\/strong> in her eyes<\/strong> whenever she’s around the boys, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all began to heat up when a\u00a0METALLICA<\/strong>\u00a0forum member posted the above recent photo of Lady Gaga<\/strong> and a mystery person believed to be Lars Ulrich standing outside an L.A. recording studio in 2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lars <\/strong>even revealed a conversation he had with Lady Gaga<\/strong>. Apparently, the talented pop star told Lars<\/strong> that she had been a fan of metal music throughout her life and revealed her favorite Metallica song was actually \u2018 Metal Militia \u2018 from the band\u2019s 1983 album \u2018 Kill \u2018Em All.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
