M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>‘s bassist Nikki Sixx<\/strong> recently welcomed the judges on American Idol <\/strong>TV show to the legendary Sunset Strip, and a huge controversy has now kicked off over the fact that the Crue’s bassist failed to make mention of his band’s long awaited comeback tour, which has been postponed twice due to <\/em>the ongoing COVID-19<\/em> pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“AMERICAN Idol’s judges are being joined by a rock legend. Idol has headed to Los Angeles for the latest round of auditions, and Motley Crue\u2019s Nikki Sixx is taking part in the fun.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the AI appearance, Nikki Sixx is ‘fake playing’ his bass instrument while the Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” jams over the audio. According to the show’s shoutout online, the knuckleheads at AI apparently don’t realize Sixx plays four strings.. not six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans are worried now more than ever – with only three months remaining before the tour is set to begin – \u00a0that the Crue’s long awaited reunion concerts will be pushed back for a third time, as a result of the pandemic or some other reason; the shocking downward spiral of Vince Neil perhaps?<\/strong> Is this a sign that there is something looming that will indeed prevent “The Stadium Tour” from being held until 2023?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why wouldn’t Sixx take this great opportunity by using the massive AI platform to promote the Crue’s comeback concerts? Either Sixx made a very foolish mistake by not once mentioning “The Stadium Tour”… or he already knows the band’s comeback is going to be postponed again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, Nikki Sixx claimed that M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce is going ahead with the idea of \u200b\u200bstarting their reunion this year. The bassist stated, on his Twitter account: “We are planning, 100%, to go on tour in 2022.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in December, Sixx stated that “The Stadium Tour” could come to Europe in the not too distant future, once it concludes its run in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDuring that period, we started talking more like: ‘How do you see things for Europe?’ ‘You know what? We love Japan. A show there would be cool.’ Motley Crue and Def Leppard. If Poison and Joan Jett stay with us, too. And then there are huge shows in Australia.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last October, Sixx stated that M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce will start rehearsing in May for the tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett.\u00a0“I started training in December, and now all that’s left is hard work, getting ready and going to rehearsals.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent cancelation of a Vince Neil July 16th solo concert has started to raise eyebrows. Rock critics are beginning to question if the Crue has actually taken The Metal Den<\/strong>‘s advice for employing a “Plan B”<\/strong> by secretly rehiring ex-Crue singer John Corabi<\/strong>, who they are going to use if Neil is not able to perform at the band’s scheduled gigs, due to the singer’s ongoing alcohol rehabilitation difficulties<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neil has been living incredibly reckless ordering $10,000 bottles of booze<\/strong> <\/a>almost every night when he goes out for dinner, per a band insider, to the point it is starting to totally restrict his abilities a musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believe it or not<\/em>, Neil’s twice postponed solo concert on March 25th in Durant, Oklahoma, is being used as a “test performance” for Sixx to determine if Neil is actually in good enough shape at this time for the grueling comeback concerts. Fans will recall Neil fell off the stage at one of his last shows in 2021, and has struggled big time with being able to sing the Crue’s classics properly, even at one time quitting in the middle of a song, because his “voice was gone.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
