\u00a0Danish Black\/Heavy Metal outfit\u00a0SLAEGT<\/strong>\u00a0(a.k.a.\u00a0Sl\u00e6gt, meaning\u00a0“lineage\u201d \/ \u201cheritage” in Danish language and pronounced\u00a0\/sl\u025b\u0261t\/),\u00a0are pleased to announce more details of their 4th<\/sup>\u00a0studio album\u00a0Goddess<\/em><\/strong>, which is out now worldwide\u00a0on\u00a0March 18<\/strong>th<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>via Century Media Records. The stunning artwork for\u00a0Goddess<\/em>\u00a0was created by D\u00e1vid Glomba (Svartidaudi, Cult Of Fire, Malokarpatan<\/strong>), which can be viewed above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album was recorded and mixed by Martin \u2018Konie\u2019 Ehrencrona (Refused, In Solitude, Viagra Boys, Tribulation<\/strong>) at Studio Cobra, and was mastered by Magnus Lindberg (The Hellacopters, Cult of Luna, Dool<\/strong>) at Redmount Studios in Stockholm, Sweden late 2021. The album showcases\u00a0Slaegt<\/strong>\u2019s most elaborated and accomplished work to date across 6 songs and 40 minutes of playing time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slaegt states about\u00a0Goddess<\/em>,\u00a0“We are extremely excited and proud to be able to announce our new full-length album \u201cGoddess\u201d! Consisting of six tracks with a total run-time of 40 minutes this is without a doubt our most accomplished work to date. We have been more detailed and thorough than ever in regards to composition, lyrics, and production while still maintaining darkness and high energy in the execution. We have been as experimental as ever and have tried to push ourselves and our music to the limit in every single way regarding the creation of this album. Words cannot describe how much we are looking forward to sharing this collection of songs with all our listeners.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the recording of \u201cGoddess\u201d we joined forces with legendary mastermind-producer Martin \u201cKonie\u201d\u00a0Ehrencrona\u00a0and traveled to Stockholm to record every single sound appearing on the record in Studio Cobra.\u00a0It took ten intense days of non-stop work, far away from home, to create \u201cGoddess\u201d and we are very satisfied with the result. The artwork of the album has been created by the illustrious D\u00e1vid Glomba. We were super excited when D\u00e1vid responded to our wish for him to work with us and we think that he has done an absolutely outstanding job to fulfill our visual ideas and concepts for this release. We have admired his work for a long time, so it brings us much pleasure to know, that he has also worked with us now. “Goddess” will be unleashed through Century Media on March the 18<\/em>th<\/sup>, 2022. \u201c\u201cFealty, Thunder Whip\u201d is a song with lyrics about a relentless desire to prove a point, no matter the price or consequences, coupled with high octane blackened heavy metal, in the signature Slaegt way!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0states Slaegt about the track.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting out as a one-man Black Metal project in 2011, the band has grown into a four-piece and developed a signature sound of their own, combining well-known styles with influences from beyond the sphere of hard rock and heavy metal.\u00a0Slaegt<\/strong>\u00a0comment:\u00a0\u201cAmalgamation leads to the redefinition of genres.
