\nA trusted source very close to Arlington, Texas (USA) based HELLYEAH band (featuring legendary PANTERA drummer Vinnie Paul) is claiming that the chaos from the band\u2019s ousted bassist, Jerry Montano, truly began several days before Montano\u2019s being kicked out of HELLYEAH back on April 7th, 2007, the night of the act\u2019s infamous CD release party, wherein the self-proclaimed<\/a> \u201cEnemy # 1: The bass player they love to hate!\u201d, allegedly got into a violent altercation with band mate Tom \u201cTomcat\u201d Maxwell and made a death threat to everyone standing around:

\n\u201cI am going to go get a gun, come back and shoot everyone!\u201d<\/strong>

\nApparently, three days before this all went down, famed PANTERA engineer, Sterling Winfield, is alleged to have become a victim of one of Montano\u2019s assaults himself , when he caught a series of punches from the drunken Ex-HELLYEAH bassist.

\nWorking with some of the biggest names and labels over the past 20 years, Sterling Winfield has built himself a reputation for delivering stellar quality as a recording engineer\/producer. Four projects have been Grammy-nominated, two RIAA-certified platinum and five RIAA-certified gold.
\n
\nLast year in Oct\/2008, Montano came upon another stroke of misfortune when he was reported to have suffered a broken and bloody nose in a raucous hotel fight on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, after a night of hard drinking at the famed Rainbow Bar And Grill, from the alleged hands of country crooner John Rich.

\nMontano even filed a lawsuit against the singer that November. Papers on that can be viewed here<\/a>. The outcome of his suit versus Rich (if any has indeed been reached) has yet to be made public.

\nLater in 2007, HELLYEAH went on to announce to the public that former DAMAGEPLAN bassist Bob \u201cZilla\u201d Kakaha would now officially be the replacement for Jerry Montano. HELLYEAH is reportedly going back into the studio later this year to begin work on their follow-up album.
