With M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> reportedly hard at work on a final album set to come out in 2023, there are now some major clues as to what it will be called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to leaked studio information,<\/a> this includes ideas for the album name being pulled from a list of working song titles: The Illuminated<\/strong>, Heaven Won\u2019t Take Me<\/strong> and Return of the Saints<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, word coming now from within Crue’s camp is that Nikki Sixx<\/strong> wants to go with the name they originally\u00a0planned to use for the title of their last studio record the\u00a0group dropped 14 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Saints of Los Angeles”<\/strong>, released in 2008, is loosely based on the band’s memoir, “The Dirt”<\/strong>, which was published in 2001. As the story goes, the Saints album\u00a0was originally titled “The Dirt,”<\/strong> believe it or not<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It makes all the sense in the world to use that title, because it is already recognized globally and Crue fans are already emotionally connected to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, it was “The Dirt”<\/strong> movie released on Netflix in 2019 that kickstarted renewed interest in the band making a comeback, which has twice been postponed due to COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Crue recorded 4 songs for “The Dirt” movie soundtrack, and it’s being said that 2 or 3 of these tracks would possibly make it onto the legendary glam metal band’s final album. Along with being speculated for inclusion is an early Crue song that never got officially released titled “Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be Lonely.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Crue last recorded together in 2018,\u00a0preparing the four tracks<\/a>\u00a0for the extremely popular biopic\u00a0T<\/strong><\/em>he Dirt<\/em>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sixx officially confirmed that a new Crue album is definitely going to happen, stating in an interview recently conducted with Yahoo Entertainment, that their final record will sound like early Crue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
