Troubled M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> singer, Vince Neil<\/strong> turned 61 years old on Tuesday, and rumors continue to swirl that a third “Stadium Tour” postponement will eventually be announced, forcing fans to wait until 2023 to see the boys make their highly anticipated return to the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That being said, Nikki Sixx<\/strong>\u00a0has already gone on the record to say that\u00a0M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>\u00a0is still on track to finally launch its long-awaited reunion this year. The bassist previously addressed the status of\u00a0“The Stadium Tour”<\/strong>\u00a0while answering a fan question on\u00a0Twitter<\/strong>. Last December while responding to a fan who wrote, “I’m hopefully going to see The Crue in Houston Tx Aug 2022!”,\u00a0Sixx<\/strong>\u00a0said, “We 100% plan on touring in 2022. See ya at the show.” He also took to Twitter again in the past couple days to confirm that the show will go on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, fans have seen two postponements due to Covid-19<\/strong> happen and are worried because of the Omicron <\/strong>variant surging across the USA with a scary high infection rate that it will happen again this year. That being said, a new Vince Neil solo gig booked during the summer is really what is freaking everyone out now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believe it or not, Vince is booked to play a solo concert on July 16th, which is my birthday. You can’t make this stuff up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Neil solo show booking indeed gets one to wondering if all is well in Crue land after all. A lot of money is riding on this comeback, well over 100 million in advance ticket sales alone. Sixx has been handling a delicate situation with Neil for the past year, having issued an ultimatum for the singer to lose at least 50 pounds of weight <\/a>within one month of the first scheduled comeback show or face being replaced with John Corabi<\/strong>, the Crue’s ex-singer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using the cloak of Covid-19 as the reason for a third postponement, it is looking like the truth is that the Crue simply is not ready to perform at these summer concerts, and the new backup plan all along to replace Neil with Corabi can be executed, along with scrapping Neil’s vocals on the final Crue album and bringing Crabs in to clean up the mess in the studio, once and for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why Sixx would look to push back the dates to 2023, because at the end of the day, Motley is his band, and he is only protecting his baby. Remember that last year the Crue did not announce the second postponement until nearly the last minute in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
