Dutch progressive death metallers\u00a0ANATOMY OF I<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>have signed to\u00a0Time To Kill Records<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for the release of\u00a0“The Los(t) Angered Sessions”<\/strong>. More information about the album and the release date will be available soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANATOMY OF I\u00a0<\/strong>is a progressive death metal band from the Netherlands. Mixing a wide array of influences ranging from 70’s jazz fusion to\u00a0death metal into a mold of tech-thrash metal,\u00a0ANATOMY OF I<\/strong>\u00a0plays an experimental and avantgarde kind of music without losing focus and\u00a0staying within straightforward songwriting.

The brainchild of vocalist\/guitarist\u00a0Michael Dorrian<\/strong>, the line-up is completed by\u00a0Edwin van den Eeden<\/strong>\u00a0(ex-SINISTER<\/strong>) on drums,\u00a0Erwin Harreman<\/strong>\u00a0(SUPREME PAIN<\/strong>) on rhythm guitar and\u00a0Roderick Ras<\/strong>\u00a0(HOUWITSER<\/strong>) on bass.

Since the release of its debut album\u00a0“Substratum”\u00a0<\/strong>in September 2011, the band has performed live throughout the Netherlands and abroad with the likes of\u00a0CANNIBAL CORPSE, MASTER (US\/CZ), DEW SCENTED (D, NL) and SADISTIK FOREST(SF), among others.

While looking forward to hitting the stage in 2022,\u00a0the band is currently working on recording their sophomore release.

The debut album was recorded with\u00a0Steve DiGiorgio<\/strong>\u00a0(TESTAMENT<\/strong>,\u00a0DEATH<\/strong>) on fretless bass and\u00a0Dirk Verbeuren<\/strong>\u00a0(MEGADETH<\/strong>,\u00a0SCARVE<\/strong>) on drums.

“The Los(t) Angered Sessions”<\/strong>\u00a0is not the new\u00a0ANATOMY OF I<\/strong>\u00a0album, but the band’s first unreleased studio recording from 2005\/2006.

Operating under the moniker of\u00a0TERMINAL EYE<\/strong>, the band split up between two sessions at\u00a0Andy Larocque<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Los Angered Studios<\/strong>\u00a0in August 2005 and January 2006, leaving guitarist and main composer\u00a0Michael Dorrian<\/strong>\u00a0to call in vocalist\u00a0Rune Foss<\/strong>\u00a0(RECLUSION<\/strong>) to the studio\u00a0to finish the recording, which ended up being in vain due to time constraints; the two tracks Rune was able to finish appear on this release.

During the global covid pandemic, with some downtime on his hands, it seemed like the perfect moment for\u00a0Dorrian<\/strong>\u00a0to finish the album and have\u00a0it mixed & mastered for an official release, to give fans a glimpse of an early raw version of\u00a0ANATOMY OF I<\/strong>.
