As if this story couldn’t get anymore sensational and truly out of this world crazy, ex-M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> frontman, John Corabi<\/strong>, has launched into a tirade online <\/a>in concern with TMD’s revealing article that spilled the beans on his being hired again to replace troubled vocalist, Vince Neil<\/strong>, for Crue’s upcoming, twice postponed co-headliner stadium tour in 2022 with DEF LEPPARD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let it be understood from the outset, that the dilemma that Nikki Sixx and Crue face is a downward spiral of their original lead singer, Neil, who has appeared ‘ill prepared’ for his own solo tour shows in 2021, getting lambasted by the critics for his horrendous vocal performance, capped off several months ago with Neil admitting he can’t sing anymore, wherein the rotund vocalist quit singing halfway through ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, and walked off the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corabi posted the following statement via Facebook earlier today 9\/8\/2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 “Ok Gang, I’ve recieved a TON of messages from a lot of you who have unfortunately fallen for this ‘CROCK OF SHIT!!!!’<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Here’s the real deal\u2026 I can categorically state here once and for all that the chances of my ‘return’ to M\u00d6TLEY are 0%\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“1) There is No Way, Nikki ordered an ultimatum to Vince, and used me as leverage! 2) There were absolutely ZERO secret rehearsals\u2026 And 3) After my incredibly STUPID portrayal in ‘The Dirt Movie,’ and the ludicrous shitty statements of one of the band members in regards to my contributions and lack of ‘writing talents,’ yours truly is NOT even remotely interested in doing that again\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Don’t buy into the ‘CLICK BAIT BULLSHIT!!!!!’<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I wish TOMMY, NIKKI, MICK, and VINCE the best on their tour, and their future endeavors!!!!”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s only one problem with Corabi’s statement. While he vehemently denies to all Crue fans that he’s not been secretly rehearsing again with Nikki, Mick and Tommy, the truth is he is in very tight with Sixx and Crue, and is only pretending to be involved in a fight with Sixx, over his past statements about Corabi not being so easy to work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? Because Vince Neil was already tipped off about his planned ousting. As the story goes, Sixx is done with Neil’s “shit show,” according to the source. Neil is said to have confronted Sixx in 2020, and Sixx lied to Neil’s face saying that he was not going to hire John Corabi again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact is John was in the studio working with Mick Mars assisting on the legendary guitarist’s solo album, and that is where the seeds were planted again for him to get back to being involved musically with Crue again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a 2012 interview, Mars<\/strong> stated about M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>‘s 1994 self-titled album: “I thought that was probably\u2026 To me, and I can only speak for me, I think that was probably the best album we’ve done.<\/em> Musical-wise, the songs, I felt, were strong. And just musically, to me, it was, I guess, my BEATLES<\/strong> ‘White Album’; that’s kind of how I feel about that one. I’m not saying that any of my other albums are crummy or anything like that \u2014 I love every album that we did \u2014 but that one just has a special thing for me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While it has been confirmed <\/a>that Alabama musician Jacob Bunton<\/strong> has been officially named as the lead singer on Mick Mars<\/strong>\u2018 highly anticipated debut solo album, word going around is that Mars and Corabi formed an even stronger bond in recent years and there has indeed been ‘internal’ discussions about Nikki, Mick and Tommy doing something together again, whether or not they called it M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> songs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, add to the equation in the past two years that Neil’s vocals live have literally flatlined, the business people behind the Crue immediately started developing a ‘Plan B’ if they needed to stop their comeback tour from derailing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inside source, who is close to the band and will remain anonymous for their own safety, informed TMD that “Crue’s comeback was not twice postponed because of Covid-19. It was pushed back twice because the ‘people in suits’ don’t want a major disaster on their hands, risking ruining the band’s reputation forever because their original singer can no longer sing their classic songs properly.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nikki Sixx himself became extremely angry with Vince Neil for not holding up his end of the bargain when they all four agreed to return of out of retirement ‘in shape to hit the stage’, because he had plans to do more stuff with Crue, possibly even one final studio album for the fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is where things get really interesting.<\/em> Because Mars and Corabi have been jamming in the studio again in recent years, and the chemistry they share musically is stronger than ever before, they began to kick around the idea of doing more songs together, including Sixx and Lee, but still never fully committed to anything, because of the Neil dilemma<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Sixx was forced to issue an ultimatum<\/a> behind closed doors with Neil, and the two nearly came to throwing fists, it got so heated. Sixx informed Neil that the majority of the band was more interested now in working with Corabi again, and that unless Neil could get his shit together, such as losing weight and cutting down on drinking liquor, that he would essentially be fired and replaced again by Corabi.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what made Neil desperately go forward with a revolutionary fat burning treatment, in hopes of saving himself from getting the axe again by Sixx. The sad fact is that Sixx knows it has nothing to do with his fat loss, it’s his terrible singing that is the ultimate issue, and there looks to be no possible way to solve this problem because the damage to Neil’s vocal chords is irreversible.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sixx has continued to mock Corabi in the press, so that he takes Neil’s attention away from what they are truly doing behind the scenes again with Corabi. This is the truth, as ugly as it all has become, and Corabi is only saving his own ass by covering up the exposed plot to oust Vince Neil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, earlier this year Corabi admitted to their being two unheard Crue songs <\/a>that were completed leading up to his departure from the band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melody Maker <\/strong>magazine<\/strong> <\/a>details the two mystery Crue songs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asked on a recent episode of the Chuck Shute Podcast<\/em><\/a> to discuss rumors of unreleased tracks, Corabi said: \u201cThere\u2019s a song called \u2018The Year I Lived a Day.\u2019 And then \u2018La Dolce Vita,\u2019 which just means \u2018the sweet life,\u2019 and we wrote that one. That was just jamming.\u201d Describing it as an \u201codd tune,\u201d he noted that \u201cif this even remotely makes any sense to anybody, it was \u2018No Quarter\u2019 by Led Zeppelin meets something from Dark Side of the Moon<\/em> \u2013 Pink Floyd meets Motley Crue, if that came in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was \u2026 literally seven minutes long [and it] had all these volumes changes. It was really mellow and it would get really heavy, and then it would come back down again. And then it would go to the left, and it would [have] \u2026 guitar riffing, and then come back down again, and then back up. \u2026 It was like this really long, epic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corabi denied rumors that producer Bob Rock<\/a> cowrote the songs. \u201cHe may have been involved after I left, but all the songs were written by me, Tommy [Lee], Nikki [Sixx] and Mick [Mars],\u201d he said. Asked what happened to the unheard material, he replied: \u201cWhen I left, I turned in all my tapes and everything to the band \u2026 and that was that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
