DREAM THEATER’<\/strong>s fifteenth studio album \u201cA View From The Top Of the World<\/strong>\u201d has officially been announced for an October 22nd release date. Additionally, the band have revealed the dates for a fall headlining run in support of it with\u00a0Arch Echo<\/strong>\u00a0opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of the new album, the band\u2019s guitarist\u00a0John Petrucci<\/strong>\u00a0commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe just love to play our instruments. That never goes away. I love to be creative, write, and exercise that part of my mind. We\u2019ve been able to do this for a long time, and we don\u2019t take it for granted. Whenever we get together, we know we can\u2019t disappoint ourselves or our fans, so we manage to try even harder.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontman James LaBrie<\/strong> added, \u201cWe approach every album like it\u2019s our first. It\u2019s been such a great ride, but we\u2019re not going to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
