Italian technical death metal band\u00a0HIDEOUS DIVINITY<\/strong>\u00a0released their second brutal single and visualizer video \u201cChestburst<\/strong>.\u201d Watch the video\u00a0HERE<\/a>. The track is off their forthcoming EP\u00a0LV-426<\/em><\/strong>, which is set for release via Century Media Records on\u00a0April 23<\/strong>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0“That persistent beat in James Horner’s ‘Face Huggers’ theme from the movie score… it all starts there. If ‘Acheron Stream of Woe’ is the epic theme, then ‘Chestburst’ is the crazy fast escape tune. It\u2019s the soundtrack of alien drones hunting the Colonial Marine squad. And no, there’s no happy ending,<\/em>\u201c states HIDEOUS DIVINITY about the track.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italian based technical Death Metal diehards Hideous Divinity deliver their staggering conceptual EP\u00a0LV-426<\/em>. The concept of the EP is a sub-narrative of the second\u00a0Alien<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0movie, directed by\u00a0James Cameron<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hideous Divinity adds, \u201cWe chose to concentrate on the story of Rebeca \u2018Newt\u2019 Jorden, the 6-year old girl rescued on the alien infested planetoid LV-426 by Ellen Ripley. We live the story from her point of view, a mixture of childhood\u2019s happy life and memories cut off by the alien attack.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EP includes two brand-new Hideous Divinity tracks, \u201cAcheron, Stream of Woe<\/strong>\u201d & \u201cChestburst<\/strong>\u201d and a smashing Tech-Death cover version of\u00a0Coheed and Cambria<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cDelirium Trigger<\/strong>\u201d. Like its predecessor,\u00a0Simulacrum,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the EP has been produced by Stefan Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio, who refined the bands signature sound consisting of bone-crushing riffs, superb drumming, and frightful vocals. Also, the EP features a stunning Alien-themed artwork by Colin Estrada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
