\nStill revelling in the wake of their ravenously received DVD spectacle

\nrecently spent five weeks on the BILLBOARD TOP MUSIC VIDEOS Chart,
\nMichigan (USA) based oddball sons of molten melodic death metal The Black Dahlia
\nMurder return stronger than ever with their fourth thrashing opus, “Deflorate”!

\nClassical-come-apocalyptic; violently energetic yet melodiously beautiful,
\n“Deflorate” sees the song writing of band leader and rhythm guitarist Brian
\nEschbach at its most developed and refined, exponentially complimented by
\ncontributions from both bass savant Bart Williams and newcomer
\nguitarist\/shred lord Ryan Knight (ex – Arsis), whose leads are destined to
\ndazzle fans and take the band’s punishing potency to dramatic new heights.
\nCombined with the intense performances of uniquely charismatic
\nhowler\/growler Trevor Strnad and rising extreme drumming star Shannon Lucas,
\nthe cannon of talent possessed by The Black Dahlia Murder is more stacked to
\ndestroy than ever! Multiplying the strengths of their past catalogue with a
\nreborn urgency and focus, the BDM crew forge steadily down the blackened
\npath they laid with 2007’s stunningly dark “Nocturnal”. With pedal
\ncompletely to the metal, “Deflorate” boasts the bands patented mixture of
\nSwedish influenced thrash and black metal with blasting fury and crushing
\nAmerican muscle.

\nRecorded at the famed Audio Hammer Studios by production wizard Jason Suecof
\nand engineering talent Mark Lewis, “Deflorate” is multifaceted death trip:
\nbeautiful, evil, and morbidly addicting. The Black Dahlia Murder has not
\nsurrendered their knack for writing compact, catchy death metal madness, and
\n“Deflorate” is by no means an exception to the bands rule of ‘all killer and
