Swedish guitarist and producer Ola Englund<\/strong>, renowned for his work with Six Feet Under<\/strong>, The Haunted <\/strong>and Feared<\/strong>, will release his second solo album titled \u201cStarzinger\u201d<\/strong> in early 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mixed and mastered by Clawfinger<\/strong>\u2019s Jocke Skog<\/strong>, \u201cStarzinger\u201d<\/strong> follows-up Englund\u2019s debut solo album \u201cMaster of the Universe\u201d <\/strong>released in early 2018 and features Delta Empire<\/strong> on drums along with a number of guest appearances from several artists including guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Ex-Nevermore)<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portraying the artwork of Costin Chioreanu (Paradise Lost, At The Gates, Emperor, etc\u2026)<\/strong> , \u201cStarzinger\u201d<\/strong> sees Englund merging influences of prog, 80\u2019s rock and metal. “Compared to the previous album Master of The Universe, Starzinger will just be way more heavy, more of the chunky metal that people are more used to when they see and hear about me.”<\/em> Says Englund about this new effort. “Prog elements are still there though. Leading single \u201cStars & Ponies\u201d <\/strong>featuring Brandon Sills<\/strong> on electronics and synths will be available on all digital platforms this Friday, November 4th but is already playing on Youtube at this location<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
