A 3D version of the cover art for\u00a0PANTERA’s<\/strong> platinum-certified 1994 album \u201cFar Beyond Driven\u201d has been unveiled for pre-order.\u00a0KnuckleBonz<\/strong>\u00a0are manufacturing the piece as part of their \u20183D Vinyl\u2019 line with a total of 1,994 hand-painted pieces to be made available. You can pre-order it now\u00a0here<\/a>. A 20th anniversary edition of \u201cFar Beyond Driven<\/strong>\u201d was released back in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The preeminent metal band of the early to mid-’90s,\u00a0Pantera\u00a0put to rest any and all remnants of the ’80s metal scene, almost single-handedly demolishing any notion that hair metal, speed metal, power metal, et al., were anything but pass\u00e9. Loathe to admit it, the Texas band had in fact been one of those ’80s metal bands, releasing fairly unsuccessful (and later disowned) glam-inspired music throughout much of the decade. The about-face came with the addition of vocalist\u00a0Phil Anselmo, and the key turning point was the band’s major-label debut,\u00a0Cowboys from Hell\u00a0(1990).\u00a0Pantera’s mainstream breakthrough came next with\u00a0Vulgar Display of Power\u00a0(1992), their second major-label album, which thrust the band to the forefront of the metal scene, alongside such veteran bands as\u00a0Metallica,\u00a0Megadeth,\u00a0Slayer, and\u00a0Anthrax, as well as fellow up-and-comers\u00a0Sepultura\u00a0and\u00a0White Zombie.” – All Music\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
