Fysisk Format<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0proud to announce the signing of Norwegian post-black-metal newcomers\u00a0SUNDROWNED<\/strong>\u00a0for the release of their debut album\u00a0“Become Ethereal”<\/strong>, which is set for release\u00a0on March 19th.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a sound reminiscent of bands like Alcest<\/strong>, Rosetta<\/strong> and Deafheaven<\/strong>, Sundrowned<\/strong> is primarily the solo project of Jone Amundsen Piscopo<\/strong> and is joined by Aron Eggertsson<\/strong>, Gabriel Innocent <\/strong>and Markus Jakobsen<\/strong> live and on the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recorded and mixed by \u00d8rjan Kristoffersen Lund (NAG, Avast, Agenda)<\/strong> at his Bridge Burner Recording<\/strong> in Stavanger and mastered by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise, Sleep, Nails)<\/strong> at Audiosiege<\/strong>, “Become Ethereal”<\/strong> is the first album in a series exploring the different facets of humanity seen through the lens of classical alchemy and the search for perfection. The album takes on the concept of the soul in the form of memories. Both how your own actions and experiences affect you as well as how the people around you shape your personality and emotional state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
