A GoFundMe campaign designed to offset various expenses related to the Tulsa, Oklahoma musician&#8217;s treatment and passing can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/the-vandalia-sinners-support-fund-for-jay-white\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The Agony Scene issued the following statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8220;It is with extremely heavy hearts that we regretfully inform you all of the passing of our friend and bandmate Jay White.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8220;Jay was a uniquely special individual who made a serious impact in his short time on this earth. He was a true force of nature that we will all miss dearly. Rest easy, we love you, Jay.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Originally a hardcore\/metalcore band formed in 2000, The Agony Scene broke up, and got back together in 2003 with a slightly altered line-up and a more melodic death-influenced sound. Quietly broke up in spring 2008 after abruptly aborting a tour with Himsa.<br \/><br \/>In the band&#8217;s early days, they were commonly mistaken for being a &#8216;Christian band&#8217; due to releasing their debut album on Solid State Records (a predominately Christian label).
