\nLegendary guitar virtuoso Eddie Van Halen is no longer a single man. This past Saturday night he tied the knot with his girlfriend of three years, Janie Liszewski. The ceremony took place in the garden of his seven-acre estate in the hills above Studio City, Calif., starting at 7 p.m., when Liszewski walked down the aisle to Van Halen’s “When It’s Love,” performed by the Sonus Quartet. The 54-year-old guitar hero’s 18-year-old son, Wolfgang, served as best man, while brother Alex Van Halen, an ordained minister, officiated at the 20-minute, nondenominational service. Among the 100 guests in attendance: Van Halen’s ex-wife, Valerie Bertinelli (they divorced in 2006, after 25 years of marriage.) The couple wrote their vows and designed the rings \u2013 Janie’s, a platinum band beside a nearly 3 carat diamond engagement ring; Ed’s, a gold band with yellow diamonds. The couple plan to honeymoon in New York, Germany and the Netherlands, where Eddie was born.

\nIn a recent interview with Guitar World about the making of his upcoming new EVH Wolfgang guitar from Fender, Eddie Van Halen had this to say regarding the subject of new Van Halen music: “I\u2019ll be making music \u2019til the day I die. I\u2019ve done all kinds of stuff, and more is coming. I can\u2019t tell you exactly when right now. Wolfgang is in the 12th grade and he needs to graduate first. Then I\u2019m getting married in June. We\u2019ll pick it up after that.”
