Speaking of this new single, the band comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201c\u2018<strong>Amethyst<\/strong>&#8216; is about the loss of one\u2019s maternal creator. It explores the immense beauty that can be found beneath the throes of grief and connects it to the sublime reality of the natural world. Even after death, our loved ones continue to live within us through the memories we\u2019ve created, the everpresent love we will always feel, and the perspectives we\u2019ve inherited.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Founded in 2014, Curses is a metalcore band from West Virginia signed to Imminence Records for their first album, &#8220;Chapter I: Introspect.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>West Virginia metalcore act\u00a0Curses have since hit the ground running with multiple tours, a slot on their region\u2019s Vans Warped Tour date. With the assistance of Taylor Larson and Spencer Sotelo, the band spent a month in the studio crafting their debut record.
