Florida-based death metal act CANNIBAL CORPSE<\/strong> have reportedly entered the studio to start work on their next studio album. The new disc, which is slated to release “before the end of the year,” will be the follow-up to 2017’s “Red Before Black”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday (May 31), CANNIBAL CORPSE<\/strong> singer George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher<\/strong> posted an Instagram<\/strong> photo of him in the studio, along with the following message: “Guess what I’m doing @manarecording @cannibalcorpseofficial @alexwebsterbass @erikrutanofficial #paulmazurkiewicz #robbarrett @metalbladerecords”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Red Before Black”<\/strong> was recorded at Mana Recording Studios<\/strong> in Saint Petersburg, Florida with producer\/engineer Erik Rutan<\/strong> (SOILENT GREEN<\/strong>, BELPHEGOR<\/strong>, HATE ETERNAL<\/strong>), who previously worked with CANNIBAL CORPSE<\/strong> on 2006’s “Kill”<\/strong>, 2009’s “Evisceration Plague”<\/strong> and 2012’s “Torture”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rutan<\/strong> made his live debut with CANNIBAL CORPSE<\/strong> at the opening show of the “Decibel Magazine Tour”<\/strong> in February 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He played with the band as the temporary replacement for guitarist Pat O’Brien<\/strong>, who was arrested in December 2018 for burglary and assaulting a police officer while his Florida home was in flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
