You can check out a video clip of that above. <strong>Powerman 5000<\/strong> frontman <strong>Spider One<\/strong> commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201cOddly enough, <strong>The Go-Go\u2019s<\/strong> are a main reason why I started playing music. I distinctly remember listening to \u2018<strong>Beauty And The Bea<\/strong>t\u2019 at my friend\u2019s house when it first came out. The clarity and simplicity of the songs inspired me. I remember saying to my friend, \u2018We could do this. We should start a band.\u2019 Not long after, I put together my first punk band in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">As for their rendition of the song, he offered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201cOur version is quite different than the original. People don\u2019t realize how clever the lyrics are to that song. They think it\u2019s just a song about dancing. I always connected with the idea of being young and lost and surrendering to conformity.
