Former PANTERA\/DOWN<\/strong> bassist, Rex Brown<\/strong>, says “I’m In” for teaming up with Philip Anselmo<\/strong> and Zakk Wylde<\/strong> for a ‘special reunion tour’ celebrating the music of PANTERA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brown<\/strong> reportedly made the comment in response to an interview “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott<\/strong>‘s longtime girlfriend Rita Haney<\/strong> gave last month in which she said she would “definitely” be in favor of Anselmo<\/strong>, Brown<\/strong> and Wylde<\/strong> embarking on such a trek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight days after BLABBERMOUTH.NET<\/strong> first published Haney<\/strong>‘s remarks, Brown<\/strong> took to his Twitter<\/strong> to write: “I wanna make sure that ppl understand what I’m about to tweet.. It’s not up to Rita<\/strong> to say what will happen, only what Philip<\/strong> & I say…I’m in!! Dig?!?!?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the story goes, Rita<\/strong> discussed the possibility of the former PANTERA<\/strong> members and the OZZY OSBOURNE<\/strong> guitarist paying tribute to Dimebag<\/strong> and his brother Vinnie Paul Abbott<\/strong> while speaking to “The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show”<\/strong> on the red carpet of the Ronnie James Dio 10th Memorial Awards Gala<\/strong> on February 20 at the Avalon in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
