There has been very little details revealed about DEFTONES’<\/strong> forthcoming ninth studio album. A picture posted on the band\u2019s social media<\/a>, seems to have shared some key details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a photograph taken by the band\u2019s keyboardist\/sampler Frank Delgado<\/strong>, the band can be seen working on new material at Los Angeles\u2019 Henson Recording Studio<\/strong> with producer Terry Date<\/strong> (Pantera<\/strong>, Alice In Chains<\/strong>) once again behind the boards. Moreno<\/strong> stated this past November that the band had recorded \u201can album\u2019s worth of music\u201d during the summer of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date<\/strong> has produced some of the band\u2019s more notable output over the years, including their platinum debut \u201cAdrenaline<\/strong>\u201c, their platinum sophomore album \u201cAround The Fur<\/strong>\u201c, their platinum third album \u201cWhite Pony<\/strong>\u201d and their gold-certified 2003 self-titled outing. If you missed it earlier today, a newly-published interview with the group\u2019s drummer Abe Cunningham<\/strong> revealed that the group are planning to release the album during the second half of 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a big summer tour lined up with Gojira<\/strong> and Poppy<\/strong>, speculation is that the album should arrive sometime around then. The band\u2019s touring plans include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
