Legendary BLACK SABBATH<\/strong> vocalist Ozzy Osbourne<\/b> has dropped his first new solo studio album in a decade today titled “Ordinary Man”<\/strong> via Epic Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ozzy<\/strong> is making history by launching the largest global tattoo sale and album listening event ever across 50 cities worldwide on Thursday, February 20. Fans heard the record before anyone and were the first to choose from a collection of exclusive Ozzy<\/strong>-inspired tattoo designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Ozzy<\/strong> returns to the world-famous Amoeba Records<\/strong> (where he last hosted an in-store in June 2010) in Hollywood, California at 5:00 p.m. To attend, purchase “Ordinary Man”<\/strong> (available on CD, LP or picture disc) in-store at Amoeba Hollywood<\/strong> on February 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ozzy<\/strong> today also unveils the Golden Ticket Sweepstakes with the release. In the U.S. only, all physical copies of the album (CD, vinyl, cassette, and pre-saves) are bundled with a unique code. Beginning today, fans may enter their codes at ordinarymansweepstakes.com<\/a> to redeem for once-in-a-lifetime Ozzy<\/strong> prizes. The prizes range from a trip for two to Los Angeles to have dinner with Ozzy<\/strong> and Sharon Osbourne<\/strong>, a signed guitar, a “Blizzard Of Ozz”<\/strong> platinum plaque, “See You On The Other Side”<\/strong> box set, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ordinary Man”<\/strong> was preceded by a trio of new Ozzy<\/strong> classics. Epic rocker and first single “Under The Graveyard”<\/strong> tallied over 15 million streams and 5.3 million YouTube<\/strong> views on the music video. Premiered just last month, the title track and cinematic ballad “Ordinary Man”<\/strong> (featuring Elton John<\/strong>) eclipsed seven million streams. Meanwhile, the metallic burner “Straight To Hell”<\/strong> (featuring Slash<\/strong>) scored 6.9 million streams and 4.2 million YouTube<\/strong> views on the music video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shared as the latest single last night, the album reunites Ozzy<\/strong> with Post Malone<\/strong> on the thrashed-out ripper “It’s A Raid”<\/strong>. From the harmonica-driven devilish blues metal stomper “Eat Me”<\/strong> to the ominous and otherworldly trip “Scary Little Green Men”<\/strong> and the poetic choir-backed confessional “Holy For Tonight”<\/strong>, “Ordinary Man”<\/strong> represents every side of one of the most influential, insurgent, and impactful icons of all time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ordinary Man”<\/strong> marks Osbourne<\/strong>‘s first new solo music in almost 10 years. Recorded in Los Angeles, the album features producer Andrew Watt<\/strong> on guitars, Duff McKagan<\/strong> (GUNS N’ ROSES<\/strong>) on bass and Chad Smith<\/strong> (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS<\/strong>) on drums.
