DECAPITATED<\/strong> vocalist Waclaw \u201cVogg\u201d Kieltyka<\/strong> added to his workload substantially last year, signing on as a touring guitarist with Machine Head<\/strong>. While that has taken up a considerable amount of his time recently, it hasn\u2019t kept him from also focusing on new material from his primary band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kieltyka<\/strong> recently revealed to Viberate.com<\/a> that his hired gun status in Machine Head<\/strong> has left him with ample downtime to work on new material while out on the road. Speaking of his plans for the Decapitated<\/strong>\u2018s eighth studio album, he commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026With the new record, I\u2019ll be back with fast aggressive riffs and technical stuff, so the old fans will get what they deserve after years of my experiments. There will be songs in the style of \u2018Earth Scar<\/strong>\u2018 and \u2018Kill The Cult<\/strong>\u2018, but from what I have now, the new ideas sound brutal and crushing. The new Decapitated<\/strong> will be, in a way, a tribute to the old gods, like Morbid Angel<\/strong>, Suffocation<\/strong>, Deicide<\/strong>\u2026 so I feel I want to deliver more blast beats and double bass death Metal. I would also like to go for more melodic things this time, plus heaviness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding to when fans can expect to hear the album, he responded \u201cbe patient. Soon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decapitated<\/strong> will be out on the \u2018Faces Of Death Tour<\/strong>\u2018 in Europe with Beyond Creation<\/strong>, Ingested<\/strong>, Lorna Shore<\/strong> and Viscera<\/strong> starting this March. Aborted<\/strong>\u2018s Ken Bedene<\/strong> will be sitting behind the kit for Decapitated<\/strong> on that run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
