The band commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201c\u2018<strong>Omens<\/strong>&#8216; is our most complete work to date: a set of songs that express the breadth of the band\u2019s collective influences. Integrating the floating, textured jams of last year\u2019s \u2018<strong>The Gold &amp; Silver Sessions<\/strong>\u2018 into our evolving heavy progressive sound has yielded another expansion of the Elder sound.
